Shipping Policies

Usually orders that have been received and cleared payment before 1PM Pacific Time will ship the same business day. Orders received on Saturdays and Sundays or on holidays will ship the next business day. All shipments will be delivered to UPS or USPS in the afternoon. Shipping will be at our discretion through UPS ground or US Postal Service. Delivery times vary by service and distance and can rangeanywhere from 1 to 7 days. Our shipping charges are based on shipments within the continental US only. All shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will incur additional shipping charges.

While we do our best to keep our warehouse well stocked with inventory, there is the possibility that an item is out of stock. If that is the case, an email will be sent to you to inform you of the estimated lead time for your order. Usually we are able to replenish our merchandise within 3 to 5 days.

The following map shows UPS ground shipping transit times as published on Nov. 25, 2008. The map is based on normal condition shipping and does not include possible delays due to holidays, weather or other circumstances. The map is based on shipping from our location at zip code 90247
and shows the transit time in business days, not calendar days.

 

If you feel that these percentages are high then please keep in mind that these kits contain batteries, water and food bars which are heavy items. Depending on the size some kits can weigh 15 to 36 lbs.

Where do we ship to?

We currently offer shipping to destinations within the lower 48 states of the US, Alaska & Hawaii only. International shipping requires export documentation and compliance with customs regulations. The time it takes to prepare such documentation and the added cost for shipping (usually by international air services) does not allow for cost-effective processing on our end.

We might use US Postal Service to send single items such as replacement products under warranty for example.



Return Policy

Order Cancellations:

Due to our short turn-around time on orders (we ship same day in most cases except for custom orders), we normally can not accept order cancellations. Once an order has been placed and the merchandise has been shipped, an order can no longer be cancelled. If you inform us of your desire to cancel an order before the merchandise has been shipped, a 10% processing fee will be charged to cover our expenses for the time spent on processing your initial order, your cancellation request and issue a refund or store credit.

Terms of Sale:

SurvivalKitShop.com does not intend, desire, or attempt to market to children. If you are a child and have gotten to this site, DO NOT make any purchases without your parents permission and DO NOT leave your personal information in any of the contact forms.

All merchandise remains property of SurvivalKitShop,com until paid for in full. Our preferred method of payment is by credit card. Backorder Policy

Damaged Goods Policy

Merchandise Warranty:

All merchandise sold by SurvivalKitShop.com is carefully selected and inspected prior to shipment.  However, should you receive an item that shows a defect then please contact us so we may discuss options.  Depending on the type of defect we might ask you to return the item(s) to us for further evaluation.  We will only warranty manufacturing and processing defects.  Misuse of the items and wear and tear are not covered by our 90 day product warranty.  

Fabric Care Instructions:

Some items sold by SurvivalKitShop.com are made of fabric either entirely or in part.  Fabric colors and quality can fade depending on use and exposure to sunlight and weather conditions.
